Ignacio C. Furfaro is a Counsel in RC Law’s Corporate and Transactional teams. He is admitted to practice law in New York and Argentina and brings a diverse range of experience to the firm, specializing in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital.

Clients consistently value his work. In the 2025 edition of Chambers & Partners USA, clients praised Ignacio as “accurate and precise in his use of terms and comments,” highlighting that “his analysis is sharp and detailed,” and that “he goes beyond compliance, offering strategic and pragmatic advice aimed at achieving the best outcomes.” Another client described the experience of working with him as receiving “highly effective expert support.”

Mr. Furfaro received his law degree (J.D. equivalent) cum laude from Universidad Austral in 2012. In 2020, he earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Rome II, graduating with the highest score. He furthered his legal education by obtaining a Master of Laws degree (LLM) from Duke University School of Law in 2023.

In his role, Ignacio advises both domestic and international clients on venture capital, general corporate matters, and mergers and acquisitions.  He has extensive experience in structuring venture capital investments, providing strategic guidance to startups and investors alike. Additionally, he handles corporate governance, contract negotiations, and a broad range of transactional matters.  His expertise in mergers and acquisitions includes managing cross-border transactions, due diligence, and negotiating deal terms to ensure successful outcomes for clients across diverse industries.

Before joining RC Law, Mr. Furfaro worked as a corporate/transactional associate at leading law firms in Buenos Aires and New York. He also served as Head of Legal and Finance at a technology and consulting company in Rome, Italy.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Furfaro is the author and co-author of various publications in the legal and economic fields. He is fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish, with an intermediate knowledge of French.
