Mohamed Ridza, Managing Partner Mohamed Ridza & Co, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Regional Director of LAWorld, was honoured recently with a special award, he received from Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, the royal ruler of the Malaysian state of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia at the Grand Palace in the royal town of Seri Menanti
Ridza explained “ My family and I are honoured and delighted for me to be awarded a Darjah Dato’ Paduka Negeri Sembilan (DPNS), which comes with a Datukship (which is a prestigious honorific title (like “Sir” in the UK)”.
Darjah Dato’ Paduka Negeri Sembilan (DPNS) translates to the Knight Commander of the Order of the Crown of Negeri Sembilan (D.P.N.S.), a high-ranking state honour in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, recognizing distinguished service to the state and its ruler, Yang di-Pertuan Besar, with recipients styled as “Dato'”. The title is part of the state’s honours system, established to reward loyal and meritorious service to the state and country.
