After graduating in Rome with a magna cum laude and after a master’s degree in corporate and finance law at the London School of Economics, Stefania qualified both as an Italian Avvocato and as a Solicitor (England and Wales) while working for a Magic Circle London law firm.
Stefania was subsequently employed as in-house counsel in leading international banks in London; she was also legal counsel of the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg where she dealt with the legal negotiations for the financing PLO’S headquarters in Ramallah after the Oslo Accords. Later, vice president of JP Morgan Investment Management where she took the responsibility of legal counsel for both the Madrid and Milan offices and later to Luxembourg based UCITS funds.
She has held corporate leadership roles in prominent Italian industrial companies and was general counsel of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana. Since 2007, she has been acting as of counsel at Studio Corno Avvocati, with a focus on international contracts, company acquisitions, and as a legal project manager coordinating major international and cross-border projects and as a consultant to a London-based Chinese ABS, YangTze Law.
Stefania lives in London and is also qualified, both in Italy and in England, as a civil and commercial mediator.
