PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Juan Carlos has extensive experience in Public Law, covering areas such as Administrative Law, Constitutional Law, Public Procurement, Concessions, Oil and Gas Law, Mining Law, Immigration Law, Consumer Protection, Intellectual Property, and Municipal Tax Law.
In the public sector, he served as a relator in the Political-Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice and the First Court of Administrative Litigation and was also the founder and Director of Conciliation and Arbitration at the National Copyright Office of Venezuela (1995-1996).
In the private sector, he worked for over 20 years at the law firm “Baker McKenzie,” where he was a partner in the Contracts and Government Relations Department and a member of the Latin American Public Law Group. He has also coordinated and supervised legal audits for regulatory and tax compliance and has specialized in legal advisory on international arbitration, regulatory matters, and Compliance.
Juan Carlos exercises his professional practice in Administrative and Regulatory Law, serving as a Consultant in Public Law, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance.
