Barry Meskin has joined Pointon as a patent and trade mark attorney. With over 19 years’ experience Barry will now support our strong IP Team and assist our firm in advising start-ups, SMEs and large corporations on how to protect their intellectual property in Australia and worldwide. 

Barry is a commercially focused patent attorney providing high-level IP advice to C-Suite executives and founders. He has significant commercial experience having held general manager and director positions in a number of start-ups, SMEs and non-profit organisations. Barry has 20+years’ experience in registering intellectual property rights gained at some of the largest IP firms in Australia. He also has in-house experience as the Australian IP manager for one of the world’s largest gaming technology companies.

Barry has a unique mix of technical, legal, operational, education and commercial experience which he uses assist companies and clients focus on achieving their desired outcome using intellectual property.

He is a registered Australian Patent and Trade Mark Attorney with significant experience in obtaining all forms of registered intellectual property including patents and designs.
