Code of Practice

LAWorld has adopted its own code of practice and all Members,  when joining,  agree to abide to this common set of rules, alongside with the ones set out by their national law society.

The scope of the code is to pursue the highest level of seamless service and professional expertise for all work undertaken or referred until its satisfactory completion.

In order to achieve this, referred  cross-border matters are established via an engagement letter clearly stating the work to be undertaken, the issues at stake, the name of the partner in charge with details of staff assigned.  The process also provides for a transparent fee structure and, if the matter involves more than one jurisdiction,  care is given to ensure a client friendly uniform approach,  within the boundaries set by the local rules and regulations.
