Closer collaboration at the heart of Europe

Managing Partners from more than twenty European law firms met in Brussels last weekend for constructive talks to strengthen relationships between them as members of the international legal network, LAWorld.

Hosted by the Brussels member firm, Marx Van Ranst Vermeersch, the meeting took place on Saturday 1 February at Le Meridien Hotel.

Lawyers from The Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, England, Spain, Italy, Russia, Hungary, France, Belgium, Poland, Denmark, Finland and Czech Republic discussed a wide range of topics including business opportunities and closer collaborations, doing business in the heart of Europe, European employment law and marketing.

LAWorld Regional Chair, Matthijs Bos from Amsterdam law firm Van der Steenhoven said “This meeting has further strengthened the close relationships between us all and it was a great opportunity to exchange ideas to improve work flow to benefit all our international clients. Spending time together in the great city of Brussels was also fun!”

Further meetings are planned at LAWorld´s annual general meeting in Zurich in May, Stockholm during September 2013 and Prague in February 2014.
